Jenny received her 200-hour RYT Certification from New York Yoga in January 2011. She has since received an advanced training in Hot Vinyasa from this very special studio. Her journey towards becoming a yoga instructor began after using the practice as cross training during her days as a competitive runner throughout high school and college. Afterwards, while attending law school, she began to deepen her practice with regular classes at a local studio. Upon graduating, she chose to take a 100-hour Embodyoga Intensive with Patty Townsend, and realized she may have chosen the wrong career path.
After moving to New York City in 2009, she decided to take her first teacher training at New York Yoga. She taught at several locations during her time in the City, including The Mercedes Club, and of course, New York Yoga. She has formerly taught at Iron & Silk Fitness Center, as well.
Jenny has recently moved to Providence, Rhode Island, and is teaching at NOW Yoga and Fitness.
Her belief is that breath and movement should flow together, and a strong physical practice combined with a steady focus on the breath is what she brings to her students.
